At Soletanche Bachy, we offer a complete range of solutions for soil survey drilling, both underground (diamond drilling) and on the surface (reverse circulation drilling). We also carry out various geotechnical tests (inclinoneters, piezometers, photo and video inspections) to help you make the most of your soil’s conditions and resources.

Soletanche Bachy has strong expertise in underground works and foundations (piles, anchors, diaphragm walls, deep soil mixing) and waterproofing (grouting, cut-offs, jet grouting, drainage), and in tunnels both mechanized and using the traditional method. We build all types of mining infrastructure: chutes, shafts, galleries, tailings dams, associated buildings (offices, plants, etc.).

Soletanche Bachy provides soil technologies to support mining activities and to extend the life of a mine through maintenance, repair and extension works: tailings dam raising, investigation drilling and waterproofing, anti-liquefaction treatments, slope stabilization and crack grouting.

Soletanche Bachy has solid experience in the design and construction of foundations and turnkey projects for all the structures required for mining operations.

To prevent and contain any contamination of your mine environment, Soletanche Bachy carries out containment work in polluted areas (grouted walls, walls with HDPE geomembrane, walls with filter doors, deep soil mixing), groundwater decontamination (drainage, water treatment) and soil inerting. We also apply the most stringent standards to ensure safe closure of mine sites, thanks to our solutions for drainage, concrete plugs and backfilling of drifts and shafts.
