Soletanche Bachy Paraguay is carrying out support works for a major building complex in Asunción
In December 2022, AGB entrusted Soletanche Bachy Paraguay with the design and turnkey construction of the containment system for the four basements and the perimetral protection of “More Central”, which AGB is building for Altius Paraguay, in the Recoleta neighborhood, Asunción. Altius Paraguay is a subsidiary of Altius Group, one of the main real estate developers in Uruguay.
Central was born as a comprehensive multi-use solution that solves the main needs of a city. The architectural project, designed by BMA Arquitectos_Asociados, is located on a 5,500 m² piece of land. It will have an office building, two “More” residential towers, a gastronomic and commercial promenade, plus 4 underground parking lots.
Soletanche Bachy Paraguay proposed the execution of a diaphragm wall anchored with active anchors, for the stabilization of the basements and the protection of an adjacent historic villa.
Aware of the importance of reducing its environmental footprint, Soletanche Bachy Paraguay is adopting innovative measures, such as using recycled materials to make up the circulation platform of its cranes (weighing 80t), and connecting the stabilization fluid manufacturing and processing plant from drilling to the electrical grid, which is a first for the country in real estate projects.
