Soletanche Bachy strengthens its presence in the United States with the acquisition of Hub Foundation
Soletanche Bachy has just completed the acquisition of Hub Foundation, an American foundation company based in the Boston area (Massachusetts). This acquisition will enable Soletanche Bachy to strengthen its presence in the United States, a growing market with great potential.
Hub Foundation, a specialist foundation and groundworks company based in Massachusetts, USA, is now part of Soletanche Bachy!
Founded in 1966, it operates in the Boston area and neighboring New England states (Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island). It has a workforce of around 85 employees. Hub Foundation is a family business run by the third generation of the Maxwell family.
This acquisition will enable Soletanche Bachy to expand its geographical coverage in the United States, by gaining a foothold in the fast-growing Boston area. It complements its existing activities.
Soletanche Bachy already operates throughout the United States through its subsidiaries Nicholson Construction (based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), Bessac Inc. (based in Denver, Colorado) and Soletanche Bachy International, which works on major projects across the country.
