Nicholson Construction was recently awarded the auger cast pile contract on the new Kalamazoo County Justice Center by construction manager CSM Group, Inc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div> Nicholson Construction<\/a> will be supporting the new, five-story, approximately 15,329 m\u00b2 facility with more than 250 auger cast piles<\/a> drilled to depths of up to 15 meters.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always special for us to be able to help out on local projects,\u201d said Dan Thome, Senior Vice President of Nicholson\u2019s Central Region and Kalamazoo resident. \u201cWorking in the communities that we are part of is a great source of pride for us \u2013 and we\u2019re really happy to be part of this project.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The state-of-the art facility, which is tentatively scheduled to open in 2023, will eventually house the county\u2019s courts and other criminal-justice related offices. Nicholson\u2019s work on the project started in early June.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
