ForSHORE and BUs from South and North America exhibited their know-how at the last two AAPA port conferences.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

The AAPA, American Association of Port Authorities<\/strong>, is the unified voice of the seaport industry in the Americas, representing more than 130 public port authorities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. AAPA promotes the common interests of the port community<\/strong>, and provides critical industry leadership on security, trade, transportation, infrastructure, environmental<\/strong> and other issues related to port development and operations. Their annual conferences are a must for anyone who wants to be a player in the marine business.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Two years after the last edition, the port industry was glad to meet again in person and full of hope thinking about the prospects of major infrastructure investment programmes in United States.<\/p>\n

Soletanche Bachy International Major Projects and Nicholson represented the Group expertise and its ForSHORE brand in Austin.<\/p>\n

It was the perfect occasion to make new contacts with Owners, Engineers, and Suppliers. Modernized, upgrading existing facilities and constructing new ones were part of most of the discussions. The supply chain current concerns were debated \u2013 as well as other matters \u2013 to find solutions to offload, transport and deliver all the good that come from the oceans to the final customer.<\/p>\n

Latin AAPA, Cartagena Colombia, November 29 \u2013 December 1st, 2021<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The port<\/a> industry, the international trade logistic chain and services associated to the shipping and maritime transport met again in Cartagena de Indias during the Latin American Congress of Ports.<\/p>\n

More than 600 participants from 37 countries, who capitalized on the face-to-face meeting to seal new businesses and update themselves on the latest trends within the port industry.<\/p>\n

Some very interesting topics were at the heart of discussions:<\/p>\n
